BYRON HAYES | PRESIDENT/CEO
Byron is a seasoned professional with a diverse background spanning military service, real estate, logistics, and government contracting. As the Founder and CEO of K A Day LLC, Byron brings nearly four decades of extensive expertise to his role.
Byron's journey began with a distinguished 30-year career in the U.S. Army, where he served as a Logistics Officer, retiring in 2016. During his military service, including 5 deployments in support of U. S. operations and the Army’s mission, Byron exemplified outstanding leadership and logistical acumen. He served as Brigade Supply Officer, Security Officer, Operations Officer and in many other leadership roles throughout his career.
Transitioning to the private sector, Byron leveraged his military experience to make his mark in real estate and logistics. He founded several Real Estate startups, where he has overseen the management of over 350 properties and led a team of 18 real estate agents. His real estate ventures have included commercial and residential build-outs, as well as the rehabilitation and stabilization of mobile home parks. As a licensed Real Estate Broker, Byron has facilitated more than 500 commercial, land, and residential real estate transactions.
In 2018, Byron established K A Day LLC, a government contracting firm specializing in Healthcare Staffing, IT Staffing, Construction, and Commercial Real Estate Leasing. The company holds certifications as an 8(a), Service-Disabled Veteran-Owned Small Business (SDVOSB) and is HUBZone certified. Byron's logistics expertise further expanded with the creation of K A Day Logistics, which provide trucking and transportation services to both commercial and government agencies.
With his unique blend of military precision, real estate acumen, and logistics expertise, Byron Hayes continues to drive growth and excellence in government contracting and private sector ventures. His commitment to veteran support programs and local economic development initiatives underscores his dedication to giving back to the community.
